Jasper next to our new coop. This is only their summer home. We will be adding another level so they can have a place to lay and a warm place to roost for the fall/winter.
It looks a bit shabby and well, it is. But they like it and they aren't on our porch anymore. Which is awesome. Especially since one, I believe it was Monster Truck, had taken to perching on the side of the box and pooping on the floor. Needless to say we are all happier with this new arrangement.
My friends were so happy to here that the baby chicks have a new summer home. Good Work!!

ReplyDeleteThe chicken coop is still in the design phase. It will happen or we will just eat them. If we end up deciding to eat them I will process them myself. Hopefully that's enough self motivation to build the damn coop. :)
